How quickly we have reached a milestone! Our niece Anne begins school today.
I don't think it was so long ago--probably about six years--that we went to Emmanuel Hospital on an April evening and saw her for the first time. Since then she's grown (not physically really, she must still be under 3' tall) from a baby to a wonderful little girl.
My life being lived at an accelerated pace, it's always a wonder to me to see the drastic change in young children's lives in what seems like such a short time. To Anne it's her entire life. And, from this day forward, it all speeds up.
