Elisha Hums while he eats.

A lot of people have commented on Elisha humming while he eats. They always say, "You've gotta get a video of that!" Well, here it is.

He caught me in the middle of recording. "Go away, Daddy! Down the stairs!"

SLC 2008

Here is some rough footage from last year's Streetwise Leadership Class in NE PDX. It'll be used for promotion of the 2009 series of classes. Hope you enjoy meeting some of my students.

Obviously, something went wrong when it was encoded or uploaded or something, but you'll get the general idea.

Video blog?

OK. I looked on Google Videos one more time to see if my video worked, and--beside the strange "text wrap" effect that seemed to pop up somewhere in the finalization process--it works! I didn't even have to redo it, only wait about 60 hours.

The return of the video blog

...well, not yet. I'm waiting for Google to approve me.

EDIT: OK it didn't seem to upload for me. I'll wait a little and try it again.

EDIT EDIT: Still not working after I uploaded it the second time. Maybe Google is objecting to a eight minute video blog on grounds of it being obscene.

EDIT EDIT EDIT: OK. I give up. I'll redo it.

Vlog #3

I think I'm finally starting to get this video blog thing into shape. I fixed some of the audio problems and figured out how make things look a little more professional and smooth.

This was done late Saturday night just to give a time reference. Another thing: when I'm mentioning people that we met at the Dove event, "Naing" (pronounced "9") is a person that we met. I'm not saying we met nine people--there were a lot more than that! Everyone else I forgot, please forgive me. Charge it to my head, not my heart.

Vlog #1

Here is my first real video blog. It's a little rough because I'm still messing with the settings. You may have to turn the volume up a little. You also may notice that all the text is backwards on the video. That's because I set the camera to "mirror" mode, otherwise I get all disoriented when I'm watching myself on screen and my arms are flying off in the wrong direction.

Regardless of all the paperwork you see in this clip, we know that it'll be more than worthwhile when we bring our kids home!
