I wanted to drop a little line right here about a cool trip that we're going on in a couple of weeks. My friend Brian is getting married on August 3rd, so in order to take part in the celebration, Anne-Marie and I are headed to Houston, Texas, on the first of next month. Woo-hoo! Way to go, 100-degree heat!
Due to circumstances beyond our control we are spending the first half of the trip in Beaumont and the second half here. Life's just not fair!
Sounds like a fun trip. Humidity is tolerable if you are not working in it but that is another story. I guess you could have taken a short road trip and driven to the metropolis of Elsey. I think it is only about 670 miles. Just a short drive. Hope you all have a great time. Eat some crawfish for me.
