quest for a tree

Last weekend, we went with Phil in search of the perfect tree. One for Phil's house and one for ours. This necessitated a trip to two different tree farms in the Estacada area.

Phil wanted a Nordman Fir so we went to Beck's U-Cut and Sheep Farms, one of the few places you can find one. He has vaulted ceilings, so he got a nine footer!Anne-Marie wanted a flocked tree. Since I refused to travel all the way across town two times in the pouring rain and pitch dark to Sleighbells of Sherwood, we found a new place on the east side of town that had what she wanted: Bob'z Garden Center. We cut a nice 8' Noble Fir. Pics of the fully decorated tree will be here soon!
