13th Anniversary Trip to Astoria

We're a little late this year, but we are celebrating 13 years of marriage with our 13th annual trip to Astoria. 

Since 2002, we've watched this little town grow and change in many ways and have had the chance to stay nearly everywhere. This time, however, we're trying something different: we've gone primitive. 

We are staying at the Norblad Hostel and Hotel. It's a simple but stylish place with creaky floors, shared bathrooms and tiny guest quarters. It's more or less a boutique flophouse and it's completely Astoria. 

We're enjoying it so far and plan on making our special time together over the next few days.
