The year was 2015. For some reason we got the idea that we would NOT go to Astoria (where we always go) for our anniversary. Instead we used an AirBnB voucher for a place in Bend, Oregon, we won from the aforementioned charity auction. Then to make things even crazier we followed it up with two days in Silverton, Oregon.
That's where we rented 1/6th of this giant Victorian for a couple of nights. The photo was taken exactly one year ago. The trip was spontaneous, unique, disorganized, informal and almost inept. And now it's one of our best memories.
