Monday was even more relaxed than Sunday. We wandered through Midtown in the antique shops and found ourselves looking through second-hand clothes somewhere on Westheimer.
More important than any of that, we went to Chick-fil-A! The fast food chain, founded by the legendary Truett Cathy, pulled out of Oregon almost ten years ago. It was such a great experience that we had to take pictures.
A drive through downtown, the east side, Katy, including Katy Mills, and some downtime spent reading books filled out the afternoon.
We celebrated our last evening in Houston with dinner at The Cheesecake Factory in The Galleria. Thanks to the Oregon Senior Bible Quizzing family for the gift cards that bought our meal.
Pics T-B: Anne-Marie in a chuck-full antique furniture shop in Midtown/Montrose area, Mexico...I mean...Midtown Houston, me eating Chick-fil-A, Anne-Marie thinking about eating Chick-fil-A, me at Steve and Barry's in Katy Mills posing like the headless torso mannequins, us at The Cheesecake Factory (a nice man at the table next to us took this picture)
