Before I forget: Christmas Day 2008

It was a one-of-a-kind Christmas this year! We were still in the biggest winter storm in 40 years and had a foot of snow on the ground. It was also the first time we've been to Mike and Kara's for Christmas. Added to that, we had ROAST for the main dish! That was definitely a first.

I got a sweater and an e-giftcard to Powell's and gave Mom some coffee and chocolate. We quizzed each other on American trivia and plowed through a couple bowls of Chex Mix. What better time could be had?

I hope you all had as merry a Christmas as my niece did: jumping, laughing, munching on chocolate-mint fudge!
