Our wait increases

We learned on Friday that our process, like so many others in Ethiopia, will take a little longer than expected. After several months of being surprisingly short, the word on the street now is that referral times are back to 4-6 months from paperwork arrival. Yeah, it is disappointing.

If you do a little research on the blog about our timeline, it should give you an idea of where we're at.

  1. Eli and Ann Marie,

Our hearts are with you as you wait. We think only perspective adoptive parents understand what this part of the process feels like. For us there are joys, pains, excitments and frustrations.

Know that you are not alone and the day will come when our families are complete.

    Fellow adopting friends,

    Michael and Laura George

  2. I am sure that this is all difficult but, unfortunately for us, God's time is not always ours. Love you guys and praying that it all works out for you.
