5 years cancer free!

According to the doctors, June 8, 2006, is the official day that all cancer cells were removed from Anne-Marie's body. That means Anne-Marie has been cancer free for five years. The five-year mark is considered the biggest milestone in recovery because all the statistics say that your chance of recurrence after five years is next to nothing. This is good. This is very good.

Anne-Marie still has a few prescriptions to take and two more doctor's appointments to keep before the official end of treatment, but all that stuff is pretty much formality. Thank God for keeping us from then until now.
