In 2001, I married the strongest, most gracious woman I know. Through 15 years I've watched so many of Anne-Marie's hopes and plans fall apart and blow away in the wind, but somehow she's better, kinder, more loving, happier. It doesn't make any sense, but I know that God has gifted her with that unique grace.
I'm so glad we married young. In one sense, when I married Anne-Marie we were really just best friends and probably totally naive about what it takes to make a marriage work. But we've grown together and that's made the journey so special.
